Brooke & Jon’s Garden Wedding

We loved Brooke and Jonathan’s spring wedding at Graylyn.  Brooke was a wedding coordinator at the time, and had so many creative touches to add.   The color scheme began with a base of neutrals — soft grays, champagne, ivory, and gold — and then added in hues like peach, pink, and coral… “Perfect for spring,” said Brooke.   Everything came together beautifully, and thanks to The Schultz’s for capturing it so spectacularly!  We were thrilled when it was featured as a 4 page spread in The Knot!  You can see more of this beautiful wedding on their featured part of our website, or on The Knot For the full Knot article, click here.

Brooke wanted that “just picked from the garden” look for her bouquet.  We used ranunculus, peonies, snapdragons,  garden roses, and feverfew.

The bridesmaids bouquets needed to be elegant, simple nosegays in neutral colors so as not to compete with their dresses.

The girls wore different dresses for a eclectic look

Originally, Brooke wanted a simple, sleek gown. Instead she fell in love with a silk taffeta and lace ball gown from Amsale. She accessorized with a flower fascinator and birdcage veil.

How cute are these flower girls? Her three nieces wore floral halos and carried windmills down the isle.  Too cute!
The bride and groom said “I do” at sunset, in a stone gazebo in the Graylyn’s White Garden.

Borrowed and thrifted mismatched Depression-glass containers held the centerpieces. They were filled them with pink and white peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, fever few, seeded eucalyptus and snap dragons.

A vintage monogram and felt love bird topper from Etsy adorned the vanilla buttercream cake by Maxie B’s. We simply added Brooke’s vintage glass with flowers as an accent.
What a beautiful day, and lovely couple! Congratulation’s Brooke & Jon!
